Let's take a closer look at this feature below. The WordPress theme editor is a simple text editor that's built directly into your WordPress dashboard. This editor allows you to modify your WordPress theme files directly in your dashboard. To access this editor, simply log into your admin dashboard and click Appearance > Theme Editor. The theme editor will look something like this: On the right, you'll see all the template files that make up your theme that you can edit in this built-in tool, like the style.css and function.php files.
